The Greater Jupiter community walks together to support a healthy lifestyle.
Healthier Jupiter Walk and Talk is a free, monthly event to promote physical activity and community among Jupiter residents. These recreationally paced walks combine learning, socializing and exercise for all. We are looking to partner with cultural/educational/inspirational partners to lead the Walk & Talks to provide an social atmosphere to target those that are not normally interested in exercise.
The next Walk & Talk will be April 2nd – 8:30 a.m at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way, Jupiter. This stroll will pass through historic points of interest on the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area. Program is open to adults and children ages 5 and older. Admission is free but space is limited – RSVP to the Lighthouse 561-747-8380 X101.
Healthier Jupiter is a community initiative funded by Palm Healthcare Foundation that addresses health and quality of life issues. Our primary focus is to raise awareness about diabetes. A healthy lifestyle can lower the risk and complications of diabetes as well as many other chronic diseases.
